Heavy Equipment Repair

On-site repairs that keep you moving.

Hydraulics, undercarriage, pins and bushings, buckets and structural cracks — diagnosed and fixed where the machine sits.

Everything happens where the machine already is — in the pit, in the yard or at the plant. Nothing gets loaded, nothing gets hauled, and nothing waits in somebody else’s shop queue.

What we handle

The work that comes through most.

  • Hydraulic hoses & cylinders

Blown hoses made up on site and leaking cylinders resealed or repaired, so a machine does not sit waiting on a parts run.

  • Pins and bushings

Worn pivot points pressed out and replaced, bores line-bored or built back up where the wear has gone past tolerance.

  • Undercarriage & tracks

Track maintenance, idler and roller work, and the adjustments that stop a tight chain eating a set of rails.

  • Buckets and attachments

Cutting edges, side plates, wear bars and reinforcement — rebuilt heavier than they came so the next season takes longer to show.

  • Cracked structure

Booms, sticks, frames and mounts gouged out, welded and dressed back, with the root cause addressed rather than skinned over.

  • Breakdown call-outs

A machine down in the middle of a job is the whole reason the truck exists. Call and tell us where it sits.

Why choose us

Why crews call Atlas

  • Your machine stays put

Hauling a dozer to a shop costs a day and a lowboy. We work where it broke, so the only thing that moves is the repair.

  • Repairs built for the field

A weld that looks good in a clean shop still has to survive dirt, load and vibration. Ours are specified for the second one.

  • One crew, the whole machine

Welding, hydraulics and mechanical under one number — no coordinating three trades around one breakdown.

  • You talk to the owner

No dispatcher, no call centre. The person who answers the phone is the person running the bead.

How we work

How a call becomes a fix

No mystery, no runaround — four steps from the phone ringing to your crew moving again.

  1. 01

    Call or text

Tell us the machine, the symptom and where it sits. You talk to the person who will do the work.

  2. 02

    We roll out

The service truck arrives loaded for the job — welder, torch, hydraulics and the steel to back it up.

  3. 03

    Fixed on site

Diagnosed and repaired where it stands, built to hold up in real working conditions.

  4. 04

    Back to work

You get a clear account of what was done and what to watch — then your crew keeps moving.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you book anyone

Still not sure? Call (270) 315-3181 and ask. You will get the person doing the work, not a call centre.

That is the normal case for us. The service truck carries welding plant, torch, hydraulic tooling and stock steel, so the repair comes to the machine. Nothing gets loaded and nothing gets hauled.

Excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks and trailers, and agricultural and industrial plant. The work is steel, hydraulics and drivetrain, and those do not change much between badges.

Where a job needs hose, steel or common wear items, we bring them. For larger components we will tell you exactly what is needed so you can source it through your own supplier if you prefer.

Often, yes. Send photos and a description to bryson@atlasonsitewelding.com or text them to (270) 315-3181 and we can scope most jobs before the truck rolls.

Also from Atlas

Atlas also covers Mobile Welding and Mechanical Services — same truck, same number, same visit where it makes sense.
